The first report of the return of the Air Jordan IV White/Cement was a not-so-clever hoax that spread throughout the internet, but confirmation of this release comes as no surprise as 2012 marks the 23rd Anniversary of the Air Jordan IV. The last time the White/Cement colorway hit stores was in 1999, just one year after Jordan’s retirement, and in that thirteen year span, you can expect a number of discrepancies between the ’99 and ’12 versions, starting with the logo on the heel. Expect a Jumpman logo prominently featured on the heel, as well as a synthetic leather upper – noticeably of lesser quality than the materials used from years ago. February 2012 is the projected month of this release, and you can certainly expect more Air Jordan IV releases for next year (perhaps an Air Jordan IV Premio?). Let us know if the Air Jordan IV White/Cement is a must-have for you, and stick with Sneaker News for more information as it develops. Info via MN.

April Fool’s jokes are cute here and there but when it comes to a long awaited classic, it ends up being less of a ‘joke’ and more like a ‘Big Let down’. But Today, we have some good solid info on behalf of the Air Jordan 4 Retro White/Black – Cement Grey. The Air Jordan IV we’ve all been awaiting for will drop for the 2nd time as retro, in February of 2012. As of now, It’s still awhile away until we get a release date but know that the Air Jordan 4 White/Black – Cement Grey IS CONFIRMED for 2012.
